The first time I met Kayla, I was deeply touched by her frustrations about surgery being her only option. I took this case on knowing the challenges I had in front of me and I shared my concerns with the patient. I wanted to give her all the facts rather than a promise of an easy fix. In fact, I did not make a promise of results, but instead a promise that I will use all of my knowledge, expertise and passion to help her. Indeed, I believe my passion was a major factor in the success of this seemingly impossible case.
At the end of the day, our beliefs guide us to a path which then becomes our truth. My belief is to take care of every patient that comes to me in the most gentle way. This truth has led me to the newest technology in orthodontics.
Case Notes
Prior to treatment, Kayla had all four bicuspids extractions, unilateral crossbite, asymmetrical underbite, insufficient premaxilla and all of her prior recommendations were to get surgery.
Result Notes
She now has a corrected functional structure resulting in facial enhancement, lifted eyelids and the eyebrows, fuller mid-face and cheeks, correct occlusion with anterior, front teeth functioning and all without surgery!
